Rutland's current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2007 and, according to state law, is due for revision. A community task force is working with the Town Board and the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) to update the Plan in 2024. The updated plan will define the Town's values, goals, and vision for the future to guide policies, regulations, and development decisions for the next two decades.
