Please consider applying to the Town Board to fill the position of Town of Rutland representative to the Joint Board of the Oregon Area Fire and EMS District. This Joint Board is responsible for the hiring and compensation matters as it relates to the Fire Chief and a few other compensation matters. The Joint Board meets infrequently; about one time per year on average. The Joint Board reports to the Oregon Area Fire and EMS District Commission.
