BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

 

NOVEMBER 15, 2012 - 6:30 P.M.

 

 

1.      PUBLIC HEARING FOR REVIEW OF PROPOSED 2012 BUDGET.  Chairman Dale Beske opened the public hearing for the 2012 proposed budget.  Attendance:  Chairman Beske, Supervisors Milt Sperle, Jim Lunde, Clerk Dawn George,  Treasurer Kim Sime.  Resident Sue Wollin arrived later.  Supervisor Walker was absent.  The proposed budget was discussed.  Chairman Beske closed the public hearing.

 

2.      CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING.  Chairman Beske called the special Town Meeting to order.

 

3.      RESOLUTION NO. 2011-11-1 FOR ELECTORS TO ADOPT OF THE TOWN TAX LEVY ($640,932) TO BE PAID IN 2010 PURSUANT TO 60.10(1)(a) WIS. STATS.  Resolution adopted on motion and second by Supervisor Sperle and Supervisor Lunde; motion carried 6-0.

 

4.      RESOLUTION NO. 2011-11-2 FOR APPROVAL OF 2010 HIGHWAY EXPENDITURES IN EXCESS OF $230,150 (46.03 miles of road times $5000) PURSUANT TO 81.01(3), WIS. STATS.  Resolution adopted on motion and second by Supervisor Sperle and Supervisor Lunde; motion carried 6-0.

 

6.  ADJOURNMENT OF TOWN MEETING.  The Town meeting was adjourned on motion and second by Supervisor Lunde and Supervisor Sperle; motion carried 6-0.

 

7.  CALL TO ORDER OF TOWN BOARD MEETING.  The Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Beske.

     (1)  Adoption of 2012 Budget.  The 2012 Budget was adopted on motion and second by

            Supervisor Sperle and Supervisor Lunde; motion carried 3-0.

     (2)  Payroll for the road patrolmen.  The hourly pay rate for the patrolmen was set at

            $19.50/$20.00 per hour on motion and second by Supervisor Sperle and Supervisor Lunde;

            motion carried 3-0.

 

8. ADJOURNMENT OF BOARD MEETING.  Motion and second to adjourn the Board meeting by Supervisor Sperle and Supervisor Lunde; motion carried 3-0.
